For most of us, our emotions can be our best friend or our worst enemy. The fact of the matter is if you are going to accomplish anything in your life, you must get emotional about it. Let me explain what I mean.
Emotion is what fuels the thoughts and beliefs that you have inside of you. Emotion is what gives life to your thoughts and perceptions in life and in return, the thoughts and your perceptions of life will continue to feed your emotions, whether in a negative or positive way.
Whatever goal, whatever dream, whatever vision that you have, will never come to fruition unless you first get emotional about it.
Let me give you an example: Let’s say that you wake up one morning and it is cloudy and gloomy outside. The sun is nowhere to be seen. You start walking over to the bathroom sink to brush your teeth and on your way you stub your toe on a corner of the door. Ouch! Then you turn the knob on the sink to run some water to wash your face and …there is no running water for you to use!
At this point most people would say “Boy today is going to be a bad day”. Emotionally they have aligned themselves with the negative perception for the entire day based on circumstances that happened in the first 5 minutes of the day!
And sure enough the day ends up going down a spiral path of energy sucking, non productive situations within their minds and robs them of their victory.
This is because your thoughts, combined with your feelings, are creating your emotions which are literally attracting and creating the effect of the circumstances which you find yourself experiencing each and every minute of each and every day!
